In April 1973, Casimiro Gomes Sampaio realized his dream: to found his own company, Casa Sampaio.
He began working as a tailor, creating suits for clients and selling ready-to-wear items and footwear, always following market trends.
In 1989, he moved to new premises that are still open to the public today.
In 2005, the need arose to start manufacturing in order to provide a more efficient, effective and personalized response to the needs of professional clients.
Independently of third parties and suppliers, Casa Sampaio currently ensures its own production and manufacture of twill items (coats, trousers, tunics and uniforms).
Despite the death of its founder in September 2022, Casa Sampaio continues the legacy in the hands of the family.
Today, Casa Sampaio Sampaio remains a reference not only in the North of Portugal, but also at national, European and international level (France, Germany, Scotland, Italy, USA, China).
